ELIXIR Norway offers an infrastructure for storage of scientific data

Storage services are intended for scientific research projects with relatively large sets of data (minimum 1TB) that need long term storage. For nationally funded projects we offer free storage of data up to 10TB. For projects with storage needs above 10 TB Uninett Sigma2 has introduced a user contribution model with an overview of the costs for the storage resources. If you do have need for storage > 10 TB, please contact us at contact@bioinfo.no

The storage quota provided by us upon application will be made available in the NeLS/StoreBioinfo infrastructure for non-sensitive data and in TSD for sensitive data.

How to apply for a storage quota?

There are two main scenarios:
